As Your Parenting Mentor, I’ve simplified it to make it easier for you to know exactly what I have to offer and how I can be of service to families and schools worldwide. Please, take a look around and let me know what you think, and know that it’s a work in progress so if you see something I didn’t catch, let me know.

Exactly eight years ago, I walked into the County Administration building to submit a DBA (doing business as) to start “Voila Montessori” and have been serving families and schools around the world under this name ever since (I explained my why here).

Today, well actually for the past few months, I’ve decided to operate my business under my own name “Jeanne-Marie Paynel – Your Parenting Mentor”.

This will enable me to broaden my reach and let go of the need to explain what Montessori stands for (it’s explained here). I’ll continue being a devoted parenting mentor, serving you to understand your child and the crucial role you play in nurturing his or her immense potential.

I not only incorporate what I’ve learned during my own parenting journey of the past 20 plus years, but also all the personal self-development and spiritual work I’ve been a student of.

There is so much I want to share with you. I believe that working simply from my personal name will enable me to offer you so much more.

So why switch to Your Parenting Mentor?

Well for one, I’ve found myself countless times having to explain or justify the mind-blowing principles of Dr. Maria Montessori she shared with us more than a century ago. And what really set it off, is one day someone asked me if I sold Montessori?!

I don’t ‘sell’ just one concept.

I offer compassionate and personalized support and encouragement that you and your family need because I know all too well that each family, each child, each parent is unique. I do this by way of sharing knowledge that I’ve acquired over the many years of studying human development.

This is knowledge I believe all parents ought to have from the very beginning, and Montessori is only a part of it – a tool of sorts. Additionally, I bring what I’ve gained being a Positive Discipline parent educator, a Theta Healing practitioner, a student of classical Feng Shui, and an avid mindfulness and meditation junkie.

Now you know why I got a facelift and changed my name…but in all honesty, it doesn’t change much. It just feels bigger and grander and liberating. So yes, I was feeling that my fictitious name was confining me and I needed to change. I feel freer already and ready to support and encourage you on your quest to be the parent you have always dreamed of being.

I’m Jeanne-Marie Paynel, Your Parenting Mentor, helping parents let go of the overwhelm so they can enjoy raising self-sufficient and resilient children with ease.

This has been my passion from day one and will continue to be!
