Lenore Skenazy has been on The Daily Show! That could be all it says on her tombstone. But she is also the founder of the Free-Range Kids movement, as well as the new non-profit Let Grow, which both insist that kids deserve a lot more freedom than they're getting. Lenore became internationally famous for letting her 9-year-old ride the subway and writing a column about it. Two days later she was on The Today Show, MSNBC, Fox News and NPR. She still writes columns, but now she lectures worldwide on how we got so scared for you young people, including how the media drive us crazy with fear – and how we can fight back.
